Meeting Rupert

Ah Rupert, our birthing experience was mostly blissful wasn't it? It was an amazing journey, and an honour. Sadly, the last 20 minutes were a bit dramatic.... Hospital bed. Stirrups. Ventouse. Strangely more traumatic than your brothers' birth (for me) but you seemed to take it in your stride, especially after some cranial osteopathy to soothe you head. I think I still have a lot of healing to do.

Your big brothers were, and continue to be, in awe of you. You find such joy in life, and spread the bounty to all who love you so very dearly.

You were so alert and calm in your first moments

Rupert has taught us to trust our parental instincts further, and to listen to our hearts as well as our minds.
